Outstanding and like stepping right into a New York deli! Pastrami was seasoned perfectly with no fat. Rye bread was fresh. Cole slaw was excellent, crunchy and flavorful... And the soup was unbelievably authentic and tasty! The package arrived on time and was neatly packed with no spillage. The instructions for reheating and serving were easy to follow. Yes, we would order this again and again!
Our order arrived on time, as promised, and was terrific, as expected! What a treat!
For optimum freshness, keep items in original packaging and store in your refrigerator for up to 3 days, or in freezer for up to 3 months. Once opened, enjoy within 48 hours.
Ben’s Best does not recommend freezing Matzoh Balls or Noodles.
Sliced Meats: Remove meats from refrigerator about an hour before heating. Keep meat in its vacuum sealed bag. Boil water in a large pot. Using tongs, carefully place vacuum-sealed bag of meat into boiling water and heat for 7 to 10 minutes. Remove, open carefully and serve.
Chicken Soup: Pour soup broth into a medium to large pot and heat over a medium flame, stirring occasionally. When broth begins to sizzle around the edges, carefully add vegetables, matzoh balls, kreplachs, and/or noodles and gently stir until hot. Avoid overheating matzoh balls as they can lose their texture and fall apart.
