Chocolate Babkas are made with cultured butter from France, and a mixture of Nutella and Belgian dark-chocolate chips, all of which is spread over laminated dough that’s braided into a babka loaf. Immediately after baking, the babkas are bathed in sugar syrup to ensure a crisp, burnished crust and a rich, chocolate-veined interior that remains deliciously moist for days.

Cinnamon Babkas are made with cultured butter from France, and a mix of cinnamon, raisins and walnuts, all of which is spread over laminated dough that’s braided into a babka loaf. Immediately after baking, the babkas are bathed in sugar syrup to ensure a crisp, burnished crust and a rich, cinnamon-buttery interior that remains deliciously moist for days.

At FoodyDirect we are doing everything we can to drive down shipping costs for our customers, including offering Low Flat-Rate Shipping.


$ 9.95 Flat-Rate Shipping - If your shipping address is reachable from Breads Bakery™ overnight via UPS Ground service, you will be presented with the incredibly low shipping rate of $ 9.95 upon checkout. (Note - for Breads Special Cookies, if your address is reachable within 2 days via UPS Ground service, you will be presented with the low $9.95 rate).
$ 24.95 Flat-Rate Shipping - If your shipping address is beyond next-day ground reach, you will be presented with a flat rate of just $ 24.95 for UPS Next Day Air Saver upon checkout (for Breads Special Cookies, if your shipping address is beyond 2-Day ground reach, you will be presented with a flat rate of just $14.95 for UPS 2-Day service upon checkout).
Note: UPS "Next Day Air Saver" is not available to certain remote locations. In these rare cases, "Next Day Air" will be offered, for an additional cost of $10.


*Please note that the flat rates above will be applied per shipping box. While some packages can be combined into a single box, several packages from Breads Bakery require their own shipping box. You will be presented with the actual shipping rate before making your purchase.

Service to Alaska is now available from Bread's Bakery™. Service to Hawaii and outside the U.S. currently not available.


Orders are shipped on Monday through Friday, except holidays. Orders placed by 1:00 PM (ET) can be shipped the next day, for arrival the following day. Perishable items cannot be shipped over a weekend and cannot be delivered on Sunday or Monday.


Weather and unforeseen circumstances can delay your shipment. We strongly recommend that you schedule your order to arrive at least 1 business day before your desired usage date to allow for any delays.


Shipping Options

The following shipping options are available depending upon the delivery date selected:


Ground Shipping (Overnight) - If a customer’s shipping address is reachable overnight via UPS Ground service, they will be presented with a $9.95 Flat-Rate Shipping upon checkout. Orders will be delivered via UPS Ground service on the selected arrival date, between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM to residences, and between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to businesses.


UPS Next Day Air Saver - If the shipping address is not reachable overnight via UPS Ground service, the customer will be presented with $24.95 Flat-Rate Shipping upon checkout. The order will be shipped via UPS Next Day Air Saver and will be delivered by the end of the next day following shipment. Delivery time can vary based on area, but can be as late as 8:00 p.m. to residences and 5:00 p.m. to businesses. Note: UPS "Next Day Air Saver" is not available to certain remote locations. In these rare cases, "Next Day Air" will be offered, for an additional cost of $10.


UPS Next Day Air - Your package will be delivered the following morning after it ships, in most cases by noon. The flat-rate for UPS Next Day service is $29.95.


UPS 2-Day (Breads Special Cookies only) - Your package will be delivered two days after it ships, by end of day. Delivery time can vary based on area, but can be as late as 8:00 p.m. to residences and 5:00 p.m. to businesses. The flat-rate for UPS 2-Day service is $14.95.


Saturday Delivery - Saturday delivery is available for Next Day Air only, for an additional charge of $20 per shipment (for a total cost of $49.95). Deliveries are made between 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM (noon), depending upon delivery address. Saturday delivery is not available for UPS Ground shipments.

Packaging & Delivery

All food from BREADS BAKERY™ is shipped for overnight delivery.

All orders are shipped signature release. This means UPS will leave the package at the doorstep, front desk or gate associated with the shipping address without requiring a signature upon delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the contents of the package are stored in a freezer or refrigerator promptly after delivery. FoodyDirect cannot be responsible for orders with incomplete or invalid addresses, or that are sent to recipients who are not available to store the contents of the order on the day of arrival. UPS cannot deliver to a P.O. box.

Storage & Care

Babkas, Banana Bread & Rugelach are pulled from the bakery's ovens at 4 or 5pm the day they are shipped, so they are incredibly fresh when they arrive at your door the next day. Enjoy within 24 hours of arrival, or freeze immediately for up to 60 days. If frozen, thaw at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours - they will still taste delicious and fresh.
