Storage & Care:

All barbecue from Central BBQ is fully cooked, vacuum sealed, and frozen before shipping to ensure freshness and quality. It is shipped in an insulated container with frozen gel packs. Depending upon the time of year, shipping destination, and temperatures, it may arrive from between partially frozen to fully thawed. It can be stored frozen and vacuum sealed for up to 6 months. Thawed, it is best consumed within 3 days. We recommend thawing in the refrigerator rather than at room temperature.

Preparation:

To warm the pulled pork, submerge the unopened vacuum-sealed bag in a pot of boiling water for about 15 minutes. Using tongs, carefully remove the bag from the pot and set it on a large bowl or platter. Cut the bag open with scissors, taking care to avoid the steam, and scoop out the moist meat. Pulled pork comes in large chunks to retain moisture. We recommend that you pull the pork apart further after reheating.
