The bagels were delicious and the lox expertly sliced and paper thin! The cream cheese was a little too chunky. My memory of the veggie cream cheese on 21st Street was that the veggies were finely chopped.
Refrigerate your lox, and cream cheese immediately Your lox can be frozen in heavy-duty aluminum foil or a freezer bag.
To enjoy your bagels right out of the box:
Microwave your bagel for 15-25 seconds. This will bring your bagel to room temperature while maintaining the delicious crust and chewy inside. Add your favorite toppings and - viola!
Warming your bagels after freezing:
If heating from frozen, microwave the open-faced bagel on high for 2 minutes, then toast on the light setting. OR place your bagels in the oven or toaster at 350° for about five minutes.
