Delivery on time, bagels as fresh as could be expected given overnight shipping. Wrap individually in plastic wrap, then foil, and freeze. Defrost then pop (unsliced) into oven for 8 minutes and they come out as hot and fresh as you might get directly from the shop. These are terrific NY bagels; the right texture, chew, and taste.

Oh my goodness! We love bagels! We have never experienced New York bagels before. The closest has been Einstein bros. but these are three times bigger and three times thicker! They r amazing! I highly recommend!! The only thing is there should be a side by side comparison just to show the size of these monsters!! You would sell thousands more. Thank you, thank you!! Delicious!
I was so disappointed in these bagels, which I ordered because I read they were voted 'best bagels in NYC'. These were nothing like I remembered a NY bagel to be. Since I haven't lived in NY in a long time, obviously tastes have changed, and in my opinion, the current voting population doesn't know what a NY bagel should be. They were very large, the texture of the dough was too dense, not chewy as it should be. The only thing I will do with the bagels is to slice them thinly and bake them into homemade bagel chips. Considering the cost of the bagels and shipping, they will be the most extravagant bagel chips ever. I would never order them again.

These are "the best" bagels-- absolutely fresh and delicious. When warmed and smeared with cream cheese, the smell and taste are just amazing. Expensive, but well worth the cost. Definitely a repeat purchase :-)

Bagels were huge! Topings were on the bottom. Bagels were delishes. But I found them a little doughy.
If not consuming your bagels right away, slice your bagels in half and place in a freezer bag. They can be frozen without any other preparation.
