Orders are shipped on Monday through Thursday, except holidays. Orders placed before 6:00 PM (ET) can be shipped as soon as the next business day for arrival the following day. Saturday delivery is not available from Jive Turkey.
Weather and unforeseen circumstances can delay your shipment. We strongly recommend that you schedule your order to arrive at least 1 business day before your desired usage date to allow for any delays.
The following shipping options are available depending upon the delivery date selected:
Ground Shipping (Overnight) - If a customer’s shipping address is reachable overnight via UPS Ground service, they will be presented with a $9.95 Flat-Rate Shipping upon checkout. Orders will be delivered via UPS Ground service on the selected arrival date, between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM to residences, and between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to businesses.
UPS Next Day Air Saver - If the shipping address is not reachable overnight via UPS Ground service, the customer will be presented with $29.95 Flat-Rate Shipping upon checkout. The order will be shipped via UPS Next Day Air Saver and will be delivered by the end of the next day following shipment. Delivery time can vary based on area, but can be as late as 8:00 p.m. to residences and 5:00 p.m. to businesses.
UPS Next Day Air - Your package will be delivered the following morning after it ships, in most cases by noon. The flat-rate for UPS Next Day service is $39.95.

All turkeys from Jive Turkey are shipped in extra thick recyclable foam containers with sufficient insulation to assure it arrives in excellent condition.
All orders are shipped signature release. This means UPS will leave the package at the doorstep, front desk or gate associated with the shipping address without requiring a signature upon delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the contents of the package are stored in a freezer or refrigerator promptly after delivery. FoodyDirect cannot be responsible for orders with incomplete or invalid addresses, or that are sent to recipients who are not available to store the contents of the order on the day of arrival. UPS cannot deliver to a P.O. box.
Upon Delivery Jive Turkeys arrive in an oven-safe bag that allows the turkey to remain juicy and moist when reheated. Turkeys have been partially cooked and frozen before shipping. Upon delivery, turkeys will be partially thawed and should be removed from the shipping box (but kept in the oven-safe bag), and immediately placed into your refrigerator or freezer.
How should I store my turkey?
Refrigerator- If you will be enjoying your turkey within 2 to 3 days of delivery, store the turkey in your refrigerator.
Freezer- If you’re not planning to enjoy your turkey until more than 3 days after delivery, immediately store the turkey in your freezer. Then, 2 days before your dinner, defrost the turkey by moving it from the freezer to the refrigerator.
Step 1) - 1 to 2 hours before heating, remove your turkey from the refrigerator. Make sure the turkey’s oven-safe bag is tightly closed. Place the turkey on a cookie sheet or in a shallow baking pan.
Step 2) - Adjust the racks in your oven to allow enough room for the oven bag to expand during reheating without touching oven walls or racks. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Step 3) - Once your oven is heated, place the turkey in the oven. Heat your turkey for approximately 30 to 60 minutes, depending on whether you prefer your turkey warm or piping hot. Be careful not to overcook the turkey. Test for doneness with a probe thermometer. All Jive Turkeys arrive partially cooked, it is important to check the turkey for an internal temperature of at least 160°F before eating your turkey. For a warm turkey, the internal temperature should be 160°F. For a hotter turkey, the thermometer should read 170°-180°F.
Step 4) - Remove your turkey from the oven when ready. Leave at room temperature for about 10 minutes, then carefully cut the bag open and remove the turkey. Place your turkey on a cutting board and let sit another 10 minutes before carving. Enjoy!
