The turkey arrived overnight in its refrigerator packaging. It was already fried and trussed up and looked great! On Thanksgiving let it come to room temperature then opened the cooking bag and rubbed the roast garlic rub all over it - ample rub to lather the whole bird. Cooking was a snap - 30 mins. on 350 resealed in the cooking bag then 20 mins with the bag cut open on 400. Let it set for 10-15 minutes then served. It was incredible. Very crispy skin and extremely moist and garlic infused bird. Even the breasts were very moist. One of the best if not the best turkey I ever had! Will definitely be ordering another of these in future! My guests were very pleased with it also! Highly recommended!

<br> Upon Delivery: <br> Turkeys will be partially thawed and should be removed from the shipping box (but kept in the oven-safe bag), and immediately placed into your refrigerator or freezer. <br> How should I store my turkey? <br> Refrigerator- If you will be enjoying your turkey within 2 to 3 days of delivery, store the turkey in your refrigerator. <br> Freezer- If you’re not planning to enjoy your turkey until more than 3 days after delivery, store the turkey in your freezer upon delivery. Then, 2 days before your dinner, defrost the turkey by moving it from the freezer to the refrigerator.
<br> Step 1) - 1 to 2 hours before heating, remove your turkey from the refrigerator. Make sure the turkey’s oven-safe bag is tightly closed. Place the turkey on a cookie sheet or in a shallow baking pan.<br> Step 2) - Adjust the racks in your oven to allow enough room for the oven bag to expand during reheating without touching oven walls or racks. Preheat your oven to 350°F.<br> Step 3) - Once your oven is heated, place the turkey in the oven. Heat your turkey for approximately 40 to 60 minutes, depending on whether you prefer your turkey warm or piping hot.
Test for doneness with a probe thermometer. All Jive Turkeys have been deep-fried but may require finish cooking. It is important to check the turkey for an internal temperature of at least 160°F before eating.
For a warm turkey, the internal temperature should be 160°F. For a hotter turkey, the thermometer should read 170°-180°F.<br> Step 4) - Remove your turkey from the oven when ready. Leave at room temperature for about 10 minutes, then carefully cut the bag open and remove the turkey. Place your turkey on a cutting board and let sit another 10 minutes before carving.
