Very good and may replace Zabar's as my source for pastrami. My issues are: 1) Would prefer the slices to be thinner; 2) Shipping cost are quite high.
Perfection. There is no better pastrami anywhere including New York that Kenny & Ziggy's. To be real pastrami it must have the proper amount of fat that even my cardiologist considers healthy! Properly sliced thin and perfectly seasoned, Ziggy's pastrami makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I order 2 pounds at a time; divide it into quarter-pound portions for freezing. After thawing, I zap it for about 15-20 seconds in the microwave ... and I'm ready for the most perfect delicious pastrami sandwich. Enjoy!
outstanding! Very good! Def buy again.
As a pastrami sandwich lover for 7+ decades, thank goodness for the wonderful "Deli Man" documentary that led me to immediately place a rather substantial order just as we finished the DVD. Drooling all over the couch and panting heavily was more than a bit embarrassing for a man my age. The kvelling, however, when I took the first bite said it all. There's likely not a a New York Deli that I haven't tried. Kenny and Ziggy's outdoes all of them! Whether cold or warm, it's perfectly thin-sliced, properly marbled, and brilliantly seasoned. Perfection! Yeah, Ziggy!
The pastrami was delicious !
The absolute best! Had a pastrami sandwich at Katz in New York yesterday. Sliced too thick and way too salt. No comparison to the perfect Kenny & Ziggy pastrami.
