Orders are shipped Tuesday through Thursday, except holidays. The order cut-off time for shipping orders is 1:00 PM (ET) two business days prior. Perishable items cannot be shipped over a weekend and cannot be delivered on Sunday or Monday.
Weather and unforeseen circumstances can delay your shipment. We strongly recommend that you schedule your order to arrive at least 1 business day before your desired usage date to allow for any delays.
Ground Shipping (1-3 Days) - If a customer’s shipping address is reachable via FedEx Ground service within 3 days, they will be presented with a $14.95 Flat-Rate Shipping upon checkout. Orders will be delivered via FedEx Ground service on or before the selected arrival date, between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM to residences, and between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to businesses.
Saturday Delivery - If a customer’s shipping address is reachable via FedEx Ground service within 3 days, Saturday delivery is available for the same low flat-rate of $14.95, and deliveries are made between 9 AM and 8 PM.
All hand pies from Mamie's Pies are shipped in recyclable containers with plenty of protective packing materials to assure they arrive in excellent condition within the max allowable transit time of 3 days.
All orders are shipped signature release. This means FedEx will leave the package at the doorstep, front desk or gate associated with the shipping address without requiring a signature upon delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the contents of the package are stored in a freezer or refrigerator promptly after delivery. FoodyDirect cannot be responsible for orders with incomplete or invalid addresses, or that are sent to recipients who are not available to store the contents of the order on the day of arrival. FedEx cannot deliver to a P.O. box.
Your Mamie's Pies should be stored in the freezer and must be consumed by the date on the package. Once baked, your hand pie can be kept refrigerated for up to four days or kept on the counter-top for two days.
Remove from packaging and place pie on parchment-lined baking sheet (brush with milk if darker finish is desired). Place in preheated 425F conventional oven for 28-32 minutes until crust is golden brown. Or, if using a convection oven, bake at 400F degrees for 15-18 minutes, following above instructions. Ovens may vary, adjust accordingly. Let cool and enjoy.
