All barbecue from Montgomery Inn has been fully cooked, vacuum sealed, and frozen before shipping to ensure freshness and quality. It is shipped in an insulated container with dry ice. Depending upon the time of year, shipping destination, and temperatures, it may arrive from between partially frozen to fully thawed. It can be stored frozen and vacuum sealed for up to 6 months. Thawed, it is best consumed within 3 days. We recommend thawing in the refrigerator rather than at room temperature.
<br> Conventional Oven: Set your oven to "BROIL." Remove the thawed Montgomery Inn ribs from the container and place them on a broiling pan, bottom side up. Cook the ribs, bottom side up, for approximately 4 minutes or until the meat begins to sizzle. Remove the broiling pan from the oven. Turn the ribs over and place the pan back in the oven for approximately 3 minutes or until the ribs sizzle and pop. Remove the ribs from the broiling pan, place on your favorite platter and top with heated Montgomery Inn Barbecue Sauce. <br> Outdoor Grill: Set your grill on high or wait until coals are red hot. After thawing, remove ribs from their package. Place ribs bottom side down and cook until meat begins to sizzle and pop, approximately 4 minutes. Turn the ribs over – topside down – and continue cooking until meat begins to sizzle and pop, approximately 3 minutes. Remove ribs from grill and top with heated Montgomery Inn Barbecue Sauce.
