You can definitely taste the bourbon in this pie. This is a pie to savor in small slices and last a while. The filling was wonderfully thick without being gooey, and the pecans were still crisp and crunchy to the last bite. The crust was a perfect balance between flaky and firm. It shipped in two days all the way to the East coast. While no longer frozen, it was still very cold, which was perfect as I couldn't wait to eat it. I'm going to order some more of their pies because they have fillings that you just can't get in regular stores.
TO THAW A FROZEN BAKED FRUIT PIE:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Remove Pie from plastic bag.
Place frozen baked fruit pie in the Preheated oven.
Heat for 25 - 30 minutes or until soft when a fork is inserted in center of pie.
