This is our second purchase of Phil's Cioppino. We bought a gallon at Christmas and it was so good we came back for more. This gallon was every bit as good as the first. Full of seafood and the sauce is the exact right amount of spice.

Incredibly good. So full of seafood. Serve with crusty bread, salad and wine. Well worth the price. You won't regret buying this.

Cioppino is one of my favorite meals so my husband often orders this for special occasions. With good reason because it is absolutely delicious and one of the best cioppinos I’ve ever had. The price is very reasonable, too. Love it!

The cost $84.95 but $10 off for being a new customer, so $74.95 total shipped. This was amazing. Definitely enough for 2 maybe 3, could do 4 if small plates and over pasta. I used this size and beefed it up with more jumbo shrimp and mussels and clams. It came with crab and that was amazing considering crab is $9.99 a pound this season. Plenty of sauce and very tasty. Shipped in a Styrofoam box that we will reuse for picnics and the dry ice was a blast in the kitchen sink making fog, which amazed the kids. So how was this? It cost less to do this than going out to dinner for 4, and my family thinks im amazing. I would and will definitely do this again. chris

I stumbled on Phil's Fish Market while vacationing in Monterey. A friend highly recommended that I find Phil's as it is off the beaten path, north of Monterey off Highway 1 in Moss Landing. It looks small and a place one might normally pass up as the parking lot is also small and packed. Be prepared to go for a walk as the only place to park is on the street. Once inside, I was again surprised that it was set up more like take out then a restaurant. A long line, crowded tables, people pushing through the line to get their own fountain drinks were all reasons I would have normally walked out. However, I was determined to see what all the rave was about, stuck it out, and ordered my least favorite menu item - cioppino - again, determined to see what the rave was all about. Although I love fish and shelled fish, I have never been a fan of "fish stew" because it tastes too "fishy" for me. HOWEVER, Phil's is, hands down, 100%, unequivocally, the BEST cioppino ever! Winner for sure!

Awesome! I don't ever remember having Cioppino before, but this is very tasty stuff. The Cioppino was very flavorful and there was a good selection of seafood in it which tasted great.
