If there were a 100 star rating, this cioppino would deserve it. There was a huge amount of delicious fish. very large shrimp, clams, mussels and calamari. The soup had a slight kick to it. This was one of the best things I have ever eaten.

Product is outstanding! I liked it so much that I ordered it a second time. The bucket it comes in seems just a bit awkward to open when the product is frozen, but food is terrific. Highly recommended.

I've had the privilege of eating at Phil's twice before. We now live in Idaho, a bit far from Moss Landing. This past March for our anniversary dinner we used Foody Direct for the first time to get a bucket of Phils Cioppino. OMG It was as good as being there. It came frozen and we warmed it up. A little french bread on the side and it was heaven! Definitely recommend both the Cioppino AND Foody Direct. The cost was fair, too. We could have gone out to a nice restaurant and spent as much or more. So the cost was not significant. Lastly, we did not eat the whole bucket! so we have some left in the freezer for that next special occasion. Yum!!

I always love Phil's Cioppino and the taste they're able to keep from production, packaging, shipping and the freshness it has when you hear it up for dinner ! I've not been disappointed.

Storage & Care:

Prepared daily, frozen, and shipped straight to you to ensure the freshest dining experience. All products can be stored frozen for up to 12 months. Once thawed, Phil’s foods should be enjoyed within 2 days per the instructions included with each order.

Preparation:

All you need is in this bucket! If frozen, slowly defrost Cioppino directly in the bucket. Thaw under refrigeration. After completely defrosting, pour into a large pot and allow to simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. For a family style dish, serve atop freshly cooked pasta, garnish with lemon and parsley and enjoy with freshly baked sourdough bread!
