Family patriarch Marcello Raffetto opened M. Raffetto & Bros. in New York City’s Greenwich Village in 1906, offering freshly made egg noodles, Genoa-style meat and spinach ravioli. Today, dedicated family members keep the delicious Old World traditions alive and ever-evolving to satisfy today’s adventurous palates. If you should find yourself savoring an exceptional "homemade" pasta dish at one of New York's finest Italian restaurants, there's a pretty good chance the pasta was made for them by Raffetto's.

About The Food

All of Raffetto’s 50 pasta flavors taste homemade because they follow the principles that have guided the company since 1906: use the best quality ingredients to make the best quality pasta. Just select the type of noodle you want and get it cut from long sheets of fresh pasta to your desired width on the manual pasta-cutting machine Raffetto’s has used since 1916! Or try their ravioli and fresh pasta sauces. Whatever you choose, you’re guaranteed authentic Italian perfection with every bite.

Meet The Owners

Founded in 1906 on wholesome Old-World renditions of egg noodles, Genoa-style meat and spinach ravioli, and, a little later, Naples-style cheese ravioli, Raffetto’s is still family owned and run by grandsons Richard and Andrew Raffetto, with plenty of help from Grandma, and Andrew's daughter Sarah who hopes to take over the reigns someday. Strict adherence to tradition is the reason the New York Times praises their golden bolts of pasta, which is "stamped into ravioli, folded into tortellini, sheared into sheets for lasagna or hand-cut, with guillotine precision, into ethereal angel hair or hearty pappardelle.”
