Since this cake was a gift, my review is necessarily second hand. In thanking me on behalf of her family, the recipient told me that everyone enjoyed it immensely. I've ordered a Smith Island cake previously and enjoyed it myself, so I decided to try using Smith Island again to send a birthday-type cake. Originally, I had planned to order the all-chocolate version, but switched to this one when I noted that it was on sale. Not only was it well worth the price, but the shipping and handling was done flawlessly.

Storage & Care:

All cakes should be kept refrigerated in an air-tight container, such as a cake dome. In these conditions, cakes maintain freshness for 5 - 7 days. All Smith Island cakes freeze wonderfully. If you have left over cake, wrap it well and freeze it.
