What a delight. This delicious once a year bread comes beautifully packed (not too much packing popcorn), in an ingenious pink gift box. Since it arrived too late for Easter, we enjoyed it ourselves, cutting in two, with one half going into the freezer, the other, the refrigerator. It was consumed over the course of a few days, though. And was delightful when lightly toasted and spread with unsalted, whipped butter. It really doesn't need the butter, but it did enhance the experience for us.
Colomba keeps an average of three weeks at room temperature, tightly wrapped—but is most likely to disappear upon arrival ;-)
