Frozen & unbaked pies can be kept for 3-4 weeks. Baked pies can be kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Thaw pie at room temperature for 5-6 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush top of pie with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in oven for 60-75 minutes. Crust should be golden brown and apples soft when tested with a toothpick. After pie cools, heat caramel pecan topping in microwave until soft and spreadable. Spread on top of pie crust starting above fluting (How do we describe this?), and working upwards until entire pie is covered.
