Tasty and fun, though next time I would not use the caramel topping.

This was a very different pie that I served after Easter dinner to my family. The crust was very flakey and light and the amount of apples was unbelievable. Baking and adding the caramel and nuts was very easy. I thought that we would never be able to try something like this in person so I wanted to make Easter special this year.
Tasted just as good or better than it looked. So glad I tried it!
Good flavor nothing special Followed the instructions step by step we were 13 at the table and no-one was crazy about the apple pie.
Absolutely the BEST !! Will definitely purchase this again ..
Looked great. Flavor good, Caramel was so hard it was difficult to slice. I would not order again.
The better of the two. The Carmel puts a great glaze/sheen on this pie, and just completes the package. Awesome!

This pie was incredible! Excellent taste, but more importantly, a unique presentation that provided a conversation piece on our table!
Really loved this pie- oh so delicious! If you are an apple pie lover, this is a definite try for you. And Foodydirect's Customer Service is OUTSTANDING!! I definitely will be a repeat customer.
I was really disappointed with this pie. I expected it to be spectacular and it was just OK. I did not realize I would have to bake the whole thing....the pie was cooked according to instructions but split open and made a mess in my oven. Then we lost half the caramel sauce which bubbled over in no time in the microwave. I spent a fortune buying and shipping this pie so I would not have to do anything but enjoy it. It wasn't that good. Looks much better than it tastes! Overall a rip off.
It was a gift to my mother. She called and told me it was spectacular to look at....not so good to eat.
Second time I have ordered this item. It has impressed everyone who has tried it.
Well packed and easy to follow the instruction to bake at home. However, it was too sweet for me to enjoy lots of apple inside of the pie. It was very entertaining and people enjoyed to watch cutting this pie!!

The pie was beautiful and even shipped pretty well. Parts of the edge of the crust was broken off due to being shipped almost across the country, but it cooked without any problems. The caramel sauce was easy to heat up and spread over the top. It was a very nice touch and presented the pie to be very special. The flavor of the pie was beyond expectations. It had great apple flavors and nuttiness of the pecans rounded it out very well. I would definitely buy it again if we ever host a large gathering.
The pie was delicious, especially the crust. I think that may have bene the best pie crust I ever ate. My only issue is the pie comes UNCOOKED. I don't remember seeing that anywhere when I ordered it. I left it in the cooler it comes in and did not find out it needed to be cooked until Thanksgiving day, and it was frozen solid. You need to thaw it first and then you need to cook it for approximately an hour and a half. If you bake it frozen it will take over 2 hours. Also you absolutely must put a pan with some height underneath it, as the juices will flow out of it. We used a half tray (small catering aluminum pan)-you know the ones you use with the sterno's). This will protect your oven from a sticky mess. Finally, there could have been a larger tub of the pecan carmel. Besides the cooking part, it was amazing!!!

Last year, I have ordered a dozen of the Levee High Caramel Pecan Apple Pies for my family and friends during the holidays! This gift was so well received that I decided to double my order for the 2016 Holidays and I will be sending this as to all of those special friends on our list. I also placed an order for our family for both Thanksgiving and the Holidays! This is truly a delicious and eye-appealing gift and "ahs" the recipients!
Terrific!! Came packaged well for shipping, frozen and unbaked. Easy to bake and then apply carmel sauce. Looks even better in person and was a very big hit with our family!
The pie was amazing. I'm not a pie person but the rest of the family are pie people. However, I even liked this. The pie with all its layers is great. Put the caramel topping on it and it is incredible. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this pie. An Oprah product that lived up to her review.
Frozen & unbaked pies can be kept for 3-4 weeks. Baked pies can be kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Thaw pie at room temperature for 5-6 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush top of pie with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in oven for 60-75 minutes. Crust should be golden brown and apples soft when tested with a toothpick. After pie cools, heat caramel pecan topping in microwave until soft and spreadable. Spread on top of pie crust starting above fluting (How do we describe this?), and working upwards until entire pie is covered.
